I was in Germany in 2013 and I saw a US Spec 560SL drive by, I guess the climate of the US was more favorable to the car then in it’s home country.

There’s some money to be made exporting these, as all but the best 107s aren’t worth much in the US, a lot less than Yourup anyway, I have to assume the same for Oz (maybe less with the strong USD).
